Dear Friends and Faithful Partners,
Thank you for your ongoing prayers, encouragement, and support. God is actively working in Guatemala, and we are excited to play our part in His mission. Here’s a glimpse of what is happening in this season of preparation, transition, and growth!
✈️ Preparing the Ground: Guatemala Bound in Three Weeks!
In just three weeks, we’ll return to Guatemala to lay the foundation for the next chapter of Seeds of Grace Missions. This trip focuses on essential preparations:
Establishing our mission house as a hub for rest, ministry, and hospitality.
Opening a local bank account to manage rental payments and ministry expenses securely.
Registering our mission vehicle to ensure safe and legal travel.
Preparing for our mission trip to Chiquimula on October 29. During this trip, we’ll partner with local believers, bringing hope and sharing the love of Christ.
We ask for your prayers for smooth logistics, meaningful connections, and protection as we embark on these crucial steps.

📚 Equipping for the Harvest: Language, Learning & Listening
After our October mission trip with Ivy Creek Baptist Church, a new season of equipping begins:
We will attend a Christian missionary language immersion program in November. By embracing the Spanish language, we can foster meaningful connections and create a more inclusive environment within our communities.
We will visit local schools, teachers, and principals to build relationships and gain insights into the needs of children and families. This will help us ensure a solid start to full-time ministry in January.
Stephen will continue his seminary studies, further solidifying his theological foundation.
Kimberly is pursuing her English as a Second Language (ESL) certification. This training will prove vital as we strive to help others learn English, an essential skill that can increase job opportunities by 50% for non-native speakers.
We are thrilled about this opportunity to learn, grow, and listen to how God guides us in our service.
🎓 Celebrating with Shalom: Preschool Graduation Joy
We will also revisit the preschool teachers in a nearby town to attend the Programma Preescholar Shalom graduation. This event is not just a ceremony; it’s a celebration of young lives and the dedicated teachers who share the Good News of Jesus Christ through preschool activities and programs.
Your support makes these celebrations possible, allowing us to uplift young learners and their teachers. Witnessing the impact of education and faith fills us with joy, and we are eager to share these beautiful moments with you.

🙏 Our current prayer needs
As we step into this new season, we invite you to partner with us in the following ways:
Pray for our upcoming activities, travel, and transitions.
Pray for discernment as we seek God’s direction in every step.
Pray for open hearts in the communities we serve.
Looking Ahead with Hope
As we approach this exciting new chapter at Seeds of Grace Missions, we reflect on the essential roles community, faith, and service play in our mission. Your prayers and support are a tremendous source of encouragement, and we cannot wait to share the stories of hope and transformation that will emerge from our activities.
Thank you for your invaluable part in this journey. We are eager to keep you updated on our progress and the lives we touch along the way. Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of many in Guatemala.
Continue with us in praying for guidance, strength, and the ability to serve with love and compassion. God is doing amazing things, and we are genuinely humbled and blessed to be part of His plan.
Blessings,
Stephen and Kim Mainer
