The foundation of all we teach and do is based solely on the inspired, unchanging Word of God.
The Bible

• We believe the entire Bible is the inspired, error-free, and eternal Word of God. It is His revelation of Himself to mankind. (Ps. 119:89, 160; Matt. 4:4; 5:18; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21)

 

• The Bible is our highest authority for life, faith, and how we live. It exposes the human heart, teaches what is right, corrects what is wrong, and shows us how to live a godly life. Rom. 15:4; 1 Cor. 10:11; 2 Tim. 3:16–17; Heb. 4:12)

 
God

• We believe the one true God is spirit, eternal, and alive. He created the universe and sustains all life. He is perfect in holiness, justice, truth, and goodness. (Gen. 1:1; 2:7; Ex. 3:14; Ps. 11:7; 31:5; 36:6; Isa. 45:5-6; Matt. 5:48; John 4:24; 5:26; Acts 14:15; Rom. 2:2; 1 Pet. 1:17; Rev. 15:4; 20:12-13)

• God is holy and sovereign. He is everywhere, knows everything, and has all power. He never changes and His greatness is beyond our understanding. (1 Kings. 8:27; Ps. 147:5; Jer. 23:23-24; 32:17; Dan. 4:34-37; Mal. 3:6; Rom. 11:33; Rev. 1:8)

• Though above all creation, God desires to be known and involved in our lives. Ps. 8:4-5; Jer. 23:23-24; Matt. 10:29-31; John 1:18; Acts 17:26-28; 1 Tim. 2:3-4)

• We believe God is a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons, one essence, equal in eternity and power. (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Isa. 44:6-8; 48:16; Matt. 3:13-17; 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Cor. 13:14; Col. 1:15-17; 2:9-10; 1 Pet. 1:2)

Jesus Christ
​

• We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, and revealed God to us. Mic. 5:2; Isa. 7:14; 9:6; Matt. 1:16, 22-23; 16:16; Luke 1:30-35; John 1:1-4, 14; 17:5; 20:28; Acts 16:31, 34; Phil. 2:5-8; Col. 1:15-17; 2:9; Titus 2:13; Heb. 1:8)

• Jesus died as our substitute, bearing our sin and God's judgment on the cross. Holy Spirit

• We believe the Holy Spirit is God and was active in creation. He convicts the world of sin and draws people to salvation. (Gen. 1:2; John 16:8-11; Acts 5:3-4; Heb. 9:14)

• At salvation, He regenerates, indwells, seals, and places believers into the body of Christ. (John 3:5-8; 14:16-17; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 3:16; 12:12-14; Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30; Titus 3:5-7)

• The Spirit teaches, guides, and empowers believers to live for God. (John 16:13-14; Rom. 8:26; 1 Cor. 2:14; Gal. 5:16; Eph. 5:18)

• Each believer is given spiritual gifts to serve the church. Some early gifts were foundational and are no longer in use. (Rom. 12:6-8; 1 Cor. 12:1, 11; 13:8-10; 14:22; Eph. 2:19-22; 4:11-12; Heb. 2:3-4; 1 Pet. 4:10-11)

 
Man
​

• We believe that human beings were created by God in His image, male and female, on the sixth literal day of creation. Mankind was made to know, love, worship, and obey God, to live in peace with one another, and to have dominion over creation. (Gen. 1:1, 26-31; 2:7, 23-25; 3:8-9, 20; Ecc. 12:13; Isa. 43:7; Mark 12:30-31; 1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 1:16; Rev. 4:11)

• We believe life begins at conception. Every person is both body and soul and will exist eternally either with God or separated from Him. (Isa. 49:5; Jer. 1:4-5; Ps. 139:13-15; 1 Thess. 5:23; Heb. 4:12; Rev. 20:13-15)

• All humanity sinned in Adam. Because of his disobedience, all people are born with a sinful nature, separated from God, and spiritually dead. We are unable to save ourselves. (Gen. 5:3; Ps. 51:5; John 3:18, 36; Rom. 3:22-23; 5:12-19; 6:23; Eph. 2:1-3, 12-13)​
