Praise & Prayer Needs

Prayer Focus for November - December 2025​​​​​​​

PRAISES

  • Provision of a Home Base
    We praise God for providing a safe and welcoming place to stay while serving in Guatemala. His faithfulness continues to meet every need.
    Scripture:

    • “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19

    • “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” — Psalm 23:1

  • Ministry Vehicle Provided
    We thank the Lord for the gift of a ministry vehicle, allowing us to reach more communities with the love and message of Jesus.
    Scripture:

    • “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.” — James 1:17

    • “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” — Psalm 37:23

  • New Partnerships and Relationships
    We rejoice in the new and renewed relationships being formed in the communities. God is opening doors and hearts to receive the Gospel through these connections.
    Scripture:

    • “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

    • “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35

PRAYERS

  • Safety and Security in Ministry: Pray for protection and guidance as the team ministers to communities and travels throughout Guatemala. May God be their shield and strength in every step.Scripture:

    • “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” — Psalm 121:8

    • “The Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” — 2 Thessalonians 3:3

  • Discernment in Leadership: Pray for wisdom and clarity while meeting with teachers and community leaders. May the Holy Spirit lead every conversation and decision.

    • “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” — James 1:5

    • “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105

  • Open Hearts to the Gospel: Pray that God would soften hearts and open ears to hear the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ.

    • “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.” — Ezekiel 36:26

  • Continued Healing After the Loss of Kim’s Dad:Pray for Kim as she continues to walk through the grief of losing her father. May God’s comfort and presence bring peace and healing to her heart.

    • “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3

    • “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

Please join us in prayer for:

  • ✈️ Safe travels and smooth logistics as we return to Guatemala.

  • 🏡 Wisdom as we prepare our mission house and register our vehicle.

  • 🧠 Clarity and growth during our language immersion and studies.

  • 💬 Open hearts in the communities we visit.

  • 💖 Continued financial provision for 2026 and beyond.

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Fruitful relationships with teachers, families, and ministry partners.

  • 📖 Boldness and grace as we share the Gospel.

  1. Prayers for continued guidance and discernment of God's will as we visit communities and seek where God wants us to begin.

  2. Prayers that God continues to open doors for a home, transportation, and other logistics to create a safe transition to Guatemala.

  3. Prayers for continuing to build prayer and support ministry partnerships.
